A native of Covington, Virginia, Jim grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from Greenbrier Military School before attending Drexel Institute of Technology.

After serving in the U.S. Army including a tour in Vietnam, Jim moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he was a successful general contractor, winning numerous quality and craftsmanship awards. Racing a variety of sail boats and fishing were his major recreational interests while in Florida but when he moved to Utah in 1994, he became interested in all things real estate.

Jim holds professional licenses as a Real Estate Appraiser, a Mortgage Loan Officer, and a General Contractor and launched his full-time real estate sales career in Park City in 1996. Now his recreational interests are focused on fly fishing and restoring old cars.

Jim’s background allows him to assist his clients with any real estate problem from construction matters to financing. His focus on personal service has earned the loyalty and friendship of his many clients.
